Even though our monthly meet will always be the second Saturday of each month at the same time/place, I wanted to get this setup early so everyone has enough time to determine if they can make it out or not.

The 3rd of the Lehigh Valley Scion meets is set for September 11th at 6pm. So there is no confusion, we will park in the Firestone Auto Center parking lot again (which across the road from Sonic) as their parking lot is bigger and can accommodate us better.

I just wanted to get this posted on here to see if there were any other Lehigh Valley owners registered on SL that might be interested.

I will keep this thread updated each month.

Hey Jim, I would say probably about an hour and a half or so.

 

^ dude its an hour for me!? lol its gotta be like 2 hours unless you take like the pike...

 

I looked at MapQuest from Philly to Nazareth and that said 1hr 28min...I know it takes me almost 2 hours to get to Vimean's shop from my house but I am about 30 minutes north of where this Sonic is.

How did this meet go? Hopefully well, I'm thinking about throwing in a mid month meet since I couldn't make it.. Anyone Down?! Haven't met up with scion peeps for a long time!

 

I think the meet went well for the first one. There were 9 Scions and about 14 people. Kev, you should come to the next one.

This meet is only to get bigger and bigger as time goes by.

Oh and Big Jim, your old trunk setup still looks sweet!

Yup, you got it - although, two cars is not much of a train, lol! I don't believe anyone else from the York chapter is planning to go, so most likely it'll just be us two.

I usually go up route 501 and catch 78 at Bethel, and head to the Allentown area that way - there's a bit of construction on 222 between Reading and Kutztown this summer, so going that way is not as quick right now. I can usually really cruise going up 501, too... So, it would probably be best if you just buzz up route 72 to my house and we can leave from there - I'm only two blocks off Main St. (72) in Manheim... heheh, you can even check out the big movie theater in my basement while you're there:

Oh, so you work on Saturday, that sucks... well, I will be leaving at 4:00 pm from my place to get up there by 6:00 pm, it's an hour and 50 minutes to Nazareth from Manheim, according to Google Maps. Get yo' **** off work early!

 

Haha yea man im tryin to see what I can do! But I get off at 4:30 so I guess I will be up there at like 6:30, Next time we can definitely drive up together. Work just messes up everything! haha, but I gotta pay for my tC! I will try to drive faster so I wont be there so late!
