Beware Bad Tinting Experience - NJ
So i was looking for a place to tint so I asked a buddy who was currently trying to get his new car tinted. he got screwed over and a hard time getting his car retinted. The lack of professionalism (if that is a word lawl) from this shop really suxorz. Since i told my buddy to go find a good tint shop for me by experimenting his own car first... i'll return a favor for him and blacklist a tint shop for his bad experience

Warning for anyone considering AutoFX for any tuning/audio/tinting services.

I recently got a full tint on my 08 WRX at a local shop called AutoFX in Cherry Hill, NJ. I'm asking that anyone in the area not patron this establishment as they are incompetent. They used dirty, unfiltered water when they sprayed down the tint and now there are portions of the window that have dozens of tiny bubbles. Also, there are imperfections in the tint where the technician scratched the tint with the tinting tools. They charged me for a professional job and gave me shotty worksmanship.
Normally I wouldn't blacklist a shop because of this but the owner was a jerk, not even getting up from behind the counter, and giving me smug attitude. He refused to give me a refund. They will re-tint my vehicle but it will take at least a full day, probably 2 days to re-do only. They wouldn't even do this at first. I turned down their suggestion that they would remove only the defective portions(meaning i'd have 2-3 piece tints on each window!)

Yea, raWr, if you're local to Philly I would suggest Shades of Gray tint. http://shadesofgraytint.com/ -- They've done MANY MANY MANY Scion's and other cars. They're renowned in their craft and quick. Had my tC knocked out in 30min, and that included an impromptu game of of b-ball on their indoor hoop. That warranty is a good thing to have when dealing with service providers. I've had the same tint up since April 2007 and it's still as clean and clear as ever with no defect.

I would go to shades of gray for tint but up until I saw Kevin's car then I had a little iffy feeling to my stomach especially when he had to take his car back two times for the rear window keeps f'ing up
had a buddy of mine do my tint in my tC. he's been tinting for 7 years now. he did a fantastic job and took him about an hour....and one beer...lol. Joking aside, I don't really trust shops cause i cannot see what they are doing. Thats why i trusted my buddy Brian who did my tint. awesome job for a very...very low price.......gotta love friends. most tint shops suck...luckily there is a few good ones out there.
