does anyone know the laws in NY about headlights like this? am i going to get pulled over every 30 minutes or could i get away with it?

just make sure the car isnt turned on, or in motion while they are showing like that

 

It's a law from state to state but actually applies to all automobiles. You can NOT have blue light emiting from your headlights. If your car is designed for halogen, it must have halogen bulbs of a white/yellow tint. HIDs are only legal on cars that they come stock with. This part may be different per each state, but 5000-8000 Kelvin are the only colors permitted by law. And this is fairly recent. They are only legal if the stock housing is designed to hold HIDs.

Those are just blue LED/194 parking lights. Plus, blue/purple lighting is the worst for driving b/c you see less at night. It gets absorbed into the surroundings much easier than white light. It looks nice, but sucks for functionality.

 

those look like the blue parking light LED's that i have in my headlamps. they are very nice. check it out! no cops have hassled me in PA. yet..... hope this helps!

 

I know in NH anything that is emiting a blue light is illegal including in the car

 

yeah, if it is not white or amber in the front .... for the rear amber and red are the only colors.

any blue or red lights on the front can be taken as you impersonating a law enforcement person...big time fines and or jail.
