Default CAI emissions safe or no?

I posted a similar thread, but I should have put it here in the Northeast regional. What I would like to know is whether or not having a CAI is legal in CT. This means that it can pass all of the emissions tests and not have any problems with legality issues. I am really talking about the TRD CAI to be more specific. I would like to hear from anyone that actually KNOWS, not just speculations. Thanks all!

Well, I can't say for sure about CT, but I know that I had a CAI on my 89 Probe GT, and that car never had any problems passing smog/visual inspections here in Mass. And I'm pretty sure those inspection laws are stricter in Massachusetts than in just about any other state, so you should be ok. But I believe ScionCop on here is a CT state trooper, so he may be able to give you more concrete facts.
