feedback comments? what do you guys think? It's a flat black model paint and I did the gauge shroud too so that it matches perfectly. I'm going to paint all the fiberglass with this flat black paint.
I'm going to mount the tC emblem I took off the hatch and mount it between the vents and the HU. Next is my kick panels for my Infinity 3.5" midrange/tweet and Infinity 5" mid-bass and then mounting my eD EU-700 6" mid/subs in the doors. And then it's into the hatch to work with some more fiberglass to mold in a 12" sub and three eD amps. But before any of that........... I need more money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it actually looks better in person, those pictures dont do it's smoothness justice...
the door is cheap and cheesy. plus i hated the metra stereo kit that had the pocket over the HU. byebye ugliness! thanks for the compliments guys. this was my first real custom dash and i think for never doing anything like it before I did a damn good job. should i leave the tC emblem the silver or paint it a metallic black? the exterior of my tC is Black Sand Pearl...

the part that I smoothed out never had the "ricepaper" texture:

I still need to work out some lines that showed up after I installed it... You can barely see them, but I can for sure......
I agree I'm going to leave the emblem silver. I am also planning on converting my amber LED's to white in both the dash and the guages. Should look real nice when done.
Thanks so much guys, I need the praise since it took me forever. I mean I know it looks good but to hear you guys liking it makes me feel more motivated to continue with the rest of this stuff.

thanks guys.
davedavetc: well it's a one-off install so basically the cost of paint, primer, adhesion promotor, fiberglass mat, resin, bondo, hardener, bondo spreaders, a metra stereo housing, sandpaper and beer.

i'm shooting for a lot of a black stealthy look for all the stuff i do to my car... very little chrome, but still a little bit here and there. what's even cooler is that the eD amps are already within my color scheme!!! flat black with some chrome accents! now it's time to design an elaborate amp rack... well... actually, time to make more money or loot a 7-11 or something so I can actually get the equipment! lol
