Default Clear Corners - Legal in Pennsylvania

I was looking through the Pennsylvania code online last night and could only find that you needed amber turn signals. Couldn't find where it said you had to have amber reflectors. I'm looking to clear my corners but don't want to have to worry about getting a ticket for it........Anybody know for certain?? Maybe which code??

TIA....Ken

PA sucks...

...In Michigan you can drive an engine on a frame and as long as it runs its legal. They also dont require insurance. Bad idea.

Table 1:
Reflex reflectors… 4 red; 2 amber 6…

Table 2
Reflex reflectors… On the rear: 1 red on each side of the vertical centerline, as far apart as practicable, and at the same height.3
On the rear—1 red on each side of the vertical centerline, as far apart as practicable, and at the same height. Not less than 15 inches nor more than 60 inches.
On each side—1 red as far to the rear as practicable, and 1 amber as far to the front as practicable. On each side—1 red as far to the rear as practicable, an 1 amber as far to the front as practicable

clear corners are illegal but no one really gets pulled over for it. Only time you'll get a ticket is if the cop is in a bad mood and tacks that on to a ticket he is already writing you

^^^ Exactly what he said. Keep a set of stock ones, you will probably have to put them on to pass inspection.

you can have clear corner markers, they just have to have amber glowing bulbs. silverstar makes a corner bulb that is silver, but lights up amber. you could go with those.

OT: Does anyone know what the legal % of tint is in PA?

I've looked thru various websites and there is no concise answer...some say you can go under 30%, some say as long as you can see in the car thru that window.

Anyone?

the legal tint limit in PA is 0% on cars. unless you are driving a truck, van, or multi-pupose vehicle, then its 35%. most cops won't pull you over for anything unless its too dark. like 5%. i have 35% in the front two windows and 15% the rest of the way back. no problems with cops anywhere. even the whole way up to massachusetts. you don't want to go past 15% or you'll have problems seeing at night.
