there are quite a few...and some good clubs for dub, subaru, classic and even the crappiest trucks in the northeast.... but no scion.

Really.. A good friend of mine just moved to danbury from bridgeport this year. He has a hooked up mazdaspeed3. He thinks clubs and meets are dumb though. Ive always been into them. I dont think ive ever seen a xb around c.t. with anything done to it to be honest. Seems like they are all in cali.. hooked up ones that is.

 

the green on is the only xb ive seen modified in any way. im fairly sure its custom paint, they have all the emblems off but im not sure past that....i havent done anything major to mine...the guys i work with want me to put a turbo in so i can get more speeding tickets. i think this is a bad plan....i kicked a cabrio and a jettas as in it as is...but ill prob put a cold air intake on it over the summer....wheels and paint are in the works and a small amount of lighting. most my friends have dubs or fords...no one understands my luv for the little black box.....

that is correct...it was an RS series ...there were a few good clubs for Scions in CT...back in the day ScioNRG was really good and a decent size...a very active group....

so...I just looked up scioNRG and the only post for the ct chapter is a VW event. really.

 

In Frank's defense, he did say back in the day they used to be very active. Not so much anymore...

Clubs are overrated but if you are looking for one, try Scikotics.

 

yeah....i was being facetious.....as far as clubs, my friends who are in them have a good time, help each other with their cars and go to karaoke and such. i guess it depends on the club and what you want to get out of it...

 

Gotcha and I know what you mean. I was in a club for a long time, in fact it was ScioNRG but then things went south and I was banned and so was my entire chapter and many others as well.

I hang out with the local Scikotics guys here in PA from time to time and they are pretty cool. But, I am not into it like I used to be.

 

Dont worry about speeding tickets with just a bolt on turbo kit. I have the hks one. I will admit it makes driving the box alot more fun and enjoyable. But honestly.. i can just keep up with regular traffic now. lol.
Oh and i also beat the crap out of a friends jetta with just bolt ons. I surprised the crap out of him.

 

if you guys look up "CT Scion" on facebook it's a good group of tCs that hang out around hartford area I guess... I've seen most of them at shows or around but there's not enough xBs getting together in CT!!! i know scikotics is a group that has some members in MA too

 

well i already earned my very first ticket on the way home from boston....and it does surprise people how it moves,,,once it actually gets out of second gear.

the xBs need to get their act together.
