So I dissassembled part of my interior roof assembly. Took dome light assembly out and the motor and watched as when I pushed the open button the white circle gear on the motor would rotate, but when I pressed close it did nothing.. I took apart the dome light assembly and looked at the black rubber contacts for open and close and the rest of it looks good.. What the ____ could the problem be... Tomorrow I guess ill have to rip pillars and headliner which is practically off now and check to see if any wires are pinched or cut... The roof will open with no problem but its lacking the power to close the roof... It takes usually 20 minutes of playing with it to get it to close... Im so confused and lost...

yup thats right! he didnt put that header on so the o2 sensor isnt connected, messing with the ecu and forcing other things to work or not work because its so confused!! duhh!

Lol thanks for the laughs guys... I just bought a new Interstate MTP-24 Interstate Battery today 800cca, so much nicer then my crappy stock one, and that fixed the problem with my car going into retard mode, only starting when it felt was right lol... The roof on the other hand was fun. I figured out the problem... The black rubber contact things on the computer board in our front dome assembly is trash... That was the problem with it.... I ran through the entire thing checking all the wires, motor, dome assembly, everything... I also had 2 techs who are my friends look at it with me and we all came to the conclusion its my front dome assembly where the contacts are for the open/close..... So now I gotta buy a new one.. Ebay here I come .
