Lets say you could have gotten her out of the snowbank, and let her drive away... What if down the road she hit a family of 4 and killed them?
Sorry, I have no respect for drunk drivers.... Her butt should have went to jail with her bf...

in all honesty i didn't know she was cocked for a few miniuts, she was balling her eyes out half the time. and i don't spend much time around people that drink so therefor it takes me a little bit to actually figure out how far gone someone is. i personally hate DUI offenders. i was in a DUI accident and it was my father who was drinking. we had just dropped my friend off and he opened the passenger window in my fathers chevy custom and he cut off oncoming traffic. he hit a minivan head on. the 7 year old boy in the back had to get 40 stichs in his knee. myself i owe my ugly mug still being attached to my face to my best friend, had he not put the window down i would have gone through the side window. the only thing that kept me in the truck was my left shoulder hitting the top of the door frame. and my left hand going through the corner vent window. trust me i know first hand what DUI's and drinking does to a family. my grandfather, uncle and father same side of the family died from liver disease. he was my father, but never my dad because of the booze.
Bottom line is you did the right thing my friend and for that no apologies should be made.
We all know and suffer from people in our lives, which includes ourselves if applicable, who do not have the strength or maturity to say "no" or "I've had enough". It SUCKS for those who have to babysit them all the time...but in the end we still have the moral obligation to help those in need or better yet, help them help themselves.
Hopefully she pays it forward...
