shanon- looking at a similarly priced wheel (10 cheaper) and tire from wheel max everything comes to $1,666...add in that extra 40 and your at $1,700. if you want to save money get a cheaper tire?

 

the same price wheels (Hiros go for $280 a pop too). i emailed him back asking for a price on just the rims and nothing else. I really want the Toyo Proxes 4 tires anyway and I can get the wheels mounted and balanced right here where I work for free.

thats what i have on my wheels. i had a set on my last wheels and they are AWESOME in the rain! really grippy in the dry and have a tread wear rating of 360. hard to beat that

 

I see where the price jump is for what SR Audio is quoting me. The Nitto Neo Gen tires are $146 a piece!

LOL, Scott the Falken Ziex ZE 512 are my second choice.

 

I have the Falkens too... really are a great tire.

But, if you're only going to be running them in the summers, then why bother with an all-season tread? I wish I went with something a little more summer-oriented so I could have a little more grip.

The Falken GR-Bs I had on my 17 inch RSL Ikaris stuck like glue... I miss those tires.

i was more worried about wear...anything will be a HUGE improvment over the stockers so that wasnt a concern for me. i guess it all depends what ya wanna spend.

 

Well, I've figured it out and if I purchase just the rims and get the Falken tires and mount and balance myself, I save myself about $300.
