Default Got Mugged

I was on my way home saturday nite at 2ish in the morning (sun morning really) and got held up with a knife. I was near my apt on the east side of rochester. I was walking home from the bar and yes I was by myself. Freakin sucks. 2 guys came running at me from behind and had a knife in my face. They demanded my wallet and I just gave it to him. Thing was I had no money it... I did have my license, debit card, Veterans card and social security card. I got a call last nite from a lady that found my debit card on the sidewalk. She found right around where I got mugged at. But no wallet found...

Any one experience something like this???

Contact the social security people right away. Identity Theft will ruin you.

But glad you're OK otherwise.

Wow.. That sucks man. There's always a benefit in staying in numbers :\

At least they didn't take your car.

why would you need your ss on you? *curious* Only time i use it is for new employment. i recommend if anything, keep a photo copy in your wallet, leave the real one at home.

Glad you are okay.

Glad you are okay.

You shouldn't leave your SS card or a copy in your wallet; that can lead to identity theft.

Hey kdog..I go to RIT and live right here in rochester. Glad you're okay. Downtown rochester can be dangerous sometimes. I've heard a lot of stories. If you ever need a ride back from the bar get at me ahead of time. I'd like to meet some local scion owners anyway..haha

I would have told them that I am not going to give them anything and would go to my car and drive away. I don't care if they have a gun. They're not going to hurt you over a few dollars. It's not worth the jail time if they get caught. The weapon was obviously used to scare you so that they could get what they wanted. Call me an idiot, but I will never get jacked.

are you serious??? i can understand you not wanting to get jacked and not wanting to be seen a a lil (insert whatever here) but i mean you have to use common sense also. i think he did the right thing. a crackhead in the hood will kill you over a dollar..if he has a gun and i dont he will also have my wallet lol...thats real talk
