I was hoping to find someone located in NY or near NY that could do a LED swap for me. I just need the main gauge cluster and the center console done. I was looking to do this since the moment I picked up the car. I don't really trust myself to do it, so I rather pay someone who actually has done it before. Please let me know if someone can help.

Well I live in White Plains as well, so that will definitely work out. A good time for me might be around the 31st....I should be getting some vacation time, and I can use that to lend you the parts. That will work better for me, I just can't see any way I can do it at the moment with my work schedule.

We can either meet up or I can ship....considering you live in White Plains I don't think that should be a big deal.

 

I would also need to know what it would cost for both the gauges and the center console. I read in that old post of yours that you only do RED for the center console, is that still true now? If you still only do that in RED then im not sure I want to swap JUST the main gauge cluster. I really wanted the whole thing in white. (except for certain lights; ex: blinkers, ABS light, AC cold indicator)

I do all colors, including brightness fix for the HVAC. I don't think I ever said I only did red

Anyway, I'm in bergen county near Giants Stadium. A full swap including steering wheel controls in any colors you like is $225, including removal, desoldering, rerouting, resoldering of LED's, replacement in vehicle. Also included are all parts (including LED's). Subtract $25 if you don't have steering wheel controls (or don't want them done).

I also use 2000mcd whites so they contrast well with grey gaugefaces. I don't use the LC-LED ones that tend to look grey on overcast days or at dusk. There are several people in our area who had me replace their previously-done LC-LED jobs with mine.

Hit me up on AIM to make an appointment. I also stock superbright 5mm LED's in all colors as well for cupholders, vents, etc, as well as replacement LED's for the cubby in all colors.
