Hello everyone...

yeah, I know... I'm REAAALLLY early with this one... but I've got to make this show a great one...

We are planning a Car, Truck & Bike show for May of 2007. This will be the third year of us having a car show at our dealership and I would like to make this a spectacular show. I'm combing the internet looking for car clubs in the New England area who might like to attend one of the first car shows of the new season. If you or any other clubs that you know of would like to attend, please contact me to let me know of your intent to attend. We will have pre-registrations available by email or fax. I will have more information available regarding the show as well as a copy of our flyer if you are interested.

Rick, I'll be at the dealership on Saturday meeting with Doug about a release xB. If you're around I'll try and stop over and say hello. It's always nice to see more dealerships hopping on here. Makes it nicer to see both parties showing interest in the cars and community.

 

...well... I'm looking into what other things we can do to keep involved in the Scion community... maybe look at some different venues & things to do...

Yeah, I'll be there. You gave me a flyer a couple weeks ago. Also check [if you haven't already] the thread about the meet this month. The 21st is good for me. I'll take off work if I know it's gonna be a definite meet.

 

...okay... here's the final word for the ride on the 21st...

I have 22 tickets to get into Great Escape...I'll have them available on a "First Come, First Served" basis... so if you're going to join us and want one of the tickets you've got to let me know as soon as possible...

Maybe Scion corporate will get on board & kick in some goodies to give away... we'll see...

...here's what I've worked out so far for the itinerary...

Saturday, October 21
- meet @ New Country Scion/Toyota lot at 11 am
- check out all of the Scions that show up
- have a hot dog/hamburger and some chips while we wait
- drive out @ 1:30 pm for < 30 minute drive to Great Escape & Fright Fest


I just found out FLY 92.3 will be up @ Fright Fest that day for their version of "So You Think You Can Dance?" from 5 -7 pm with a top prize of $1,000 for first place, $350 for second and $100 for third. Who wants to show off their moves ?? They're only taking the first 50 contestants, so we'd better get up there quick...

Hey everyone... it's been a while since I've been on here but I'm finally back... and I'm calling on all Scion owners, Scion Champions and Scion Clubs in the Upstate NY, NJ and New England areas to join us on May 20th...

We're having a car show at the dealership in Saratoga Springs for Tuners, Hot Rods, Trucks & Motorcycles... that means we want any & all Scions to come out & join us...

We're going to use the proceeds from the show to benefit Cancer Research so let's get as many cars & people out here as possible...

Any word when my 2008 XB will be in. Remember, you promised the second one.....

 

1st one will be here right around the 20th of May... second & others should be coming shortly after that... I hope !! ...

 

Well thanks to the lovely changes at work, I can't make it. Kinda disappointed. Wanted to see the new B close up and check out all the other cars.

Since it is open to everything though, my friend might be coming up in his new project if it's finished on time.

Only hint I can give is its a "Brute".

If he doesn't get it done I'll post up on it if anyone wants.

 

Alright well my friend got sick and hasn't been able to finish his project so he won't be there.

Just because I'm as pumped about it as he is, here is what he is doing. He bought a Jeep Rubicon about 2 years ago and has had it stock since he got it. Hard and soft top, nothing special.

Well he decided it was finally time to make it his own now that its paid for.

Here is what he is doing.



That is the picture from the company that makes the kit. Basically he cuts the frame and adds about 2 feet onto the length making it a truck.
