Alright good scion people of NYC, long island, westchester, NJ, CT, MA, etc...

There is a group on matrixowners.com called the HCMO (hardcore matrix owners), who are planning a large cruise from the NY area up to the Boston area from Oct. 24 to the 26th.
My wife(who is a member) and I have been friends with this group for about 5 years and have been a part of some pretty fun events.

So far nothing is set is stone, but there is talk of meeting up with toyotas from the boston area, go karting, photoshoot, etc...

I think a train of Scions would add to this cruise lovely. Dont let me be the only one!!!

ok so here is the latest info.
As far as the matrix people go...
there are 2 coming from VA/MD
5 from NY
1 from CT
3 from NJ/PA
I have not checked for a headcount of people coming from MA, north of MA and Canada.


Here is some rollout info for the NY people:
FRIDAY OCT. 24

11AM southern state parkway valley stream long island. departs 1115

1145 dunkin donuts pelham NY
departs 1200pm

1PM cracker barrel milford CT
departs 215

430pm arrival in Chelmsford, MA

 

I havent had a chance to go through the thread to get accurate head counts of other forums, clubs etc attending... but I will try and post as much info as I can as I get it.

Still no exact times... but the main "event" that is being planned is going go karting at F1 in Boston on saturday night.
Dinner will be before and then F1.

Some people are looking to head to Salem for a short run, either sat or sun.

We are looking to locals to give any suggestions for bars/clubs/night time activities and/or any good roads to go for a fall cruise and picture taking spots.

I will have my cell phone/PDA so if anyone posts here or sends me a PM, I can check it and post back right away.
As soon as any times or place are decided I will start posting.

 

nvm i was thinking that we were going to drive somewhere far, completely forgot the NY TO boston ride lol

 

it looks like everyone is heading to F1 around 5PM.
then a group is heading to dinner at the "cheers" bar.

during the day some are just hanging out around the hotel to mod or trade parts.

update: we will be in the radission parking lot for a bit to get everyone together.

time as of now to go to F1 is 5pm.

It was a fun time... 30 some odd cars showed from as far south as virginia and south carolina and north as toronto.

I hope some more NY people decide to come for the next hardcore meet...
its tenatively scheduled for the fall in Niagara Falls.
