Default New tC owner from New Jerz...couple of questions...

Hey everybody,

I'm new to the forum and new to the scion world. I just put a deposit down on a 2008 auto BSP tC with a pedestal spoiler at DCH Brunswick Toyota/Scion...should have it by thurs.

I need to get an alarm asap since I go to school at Rutgers and travel back to my family's house in Jersey City...Does anybody have a recommendation for *good* shop that installs alarms in the middlesex/hudson/essex county areas???

Also, I'm going to be buying the trd springs from trdsparks.com...Anybody reccommend a good shop for the installs???

Thanks for your help!

welcome and congrats on the purchase...

u can check out auto works in middletown. not the closest, but i would stay away from places in the area like a zippos or auto image. they are way over priced. but auto works is a good shop. I know the owner and have done a decent amount of business with them. I will pm you his info.

edit: u have a msg in your inbox!

Hey guys, I'm new to ScionLife. I live in Maryland but I have a cousin who lives in PA that referred this place for me. I have nothing in my car, but I'm saving up money to upgrade.

P.S. RS3 sucks.

you made the same mistake as me...buying from DCH....Im pretty sure that if you install an alarm it deactivates your engine immobilizer....or is that just an auto starter?

i have python 2 way alarm install in Circuit City. The AA battery die one day, I can't start the car with just the key, Now i keep spare battery inside the tc.

I just got my tc back from Dynamic Perormance in Somerville NJ, They had to replace one of my supercharger idle pulley.
They do all the performance part. Things like spring should be piece cake for them to replace.
they are locate on 189 south bridge st. across from the cemetery
