just sold my modded celica gts for my new kenstyle scion. but grrrrrrrrrrr there are no clubs even remotely close to me.....sighhhh should have just gotten a truck or something.

obviously u didnt really do any homework or reading on SL before you posted this. there are 2 big clubs in NJ and both clubs had reps post in your thread now.

 

i have been researchiong have had noone get back to me have been posting only been a few days. nice way to go all negative on the new guy though way to go.

 

they are all over half an hour which is no big deal juast trying to get a meet going. not much i my area i.e. in my county.

 

maybe nobody got back to you bcuz its a saturday in the middle of show season...ppl have lives and things to do on saturdays.

but i know i cant speak for everyone on this forum, but i know i wasnt on the boards yesterday

 

we have meets all throughout nj and even travel to other states for shows/meets. there are meets happening all the time. and people are always welcome to try to start up their own meet. just because we live in certain towns, doesn't mean that those are the only places we hang out.

 

im not interested in my own meet im more than agreeable traveling just not great with directions. meeting with a few people close and following would be preferable. i have easy access to rt 15,80,23,46,10. been doing audio a longgg time(14 years) not a speed guy more show and sound. i do home audio,home theatre,home automation and lighting for a living so i like the tech toys.

 

no your right dude im just in a ____y mood not really wanring to get rid of celica have 15k invested with no sponsors. i love that car and as much as i like the scion kenstyle i have a lot of work and money into celica so im not in a great mood having to get rid of it. sorry for snapping

 

I know what you mean Excelon, I have to drive 1 hour+ to go to a meet here, that plays a good part in why I don't attend many meets anymore, that and I have other stuff I need to get done that needs to be done first also

either way hang with both clubs, then you'll have 2 familiies lol

 

so far no responses but as we said its only been the weekend and it is show season. thats exactly why i bought the scion. as modded as the celica was it had 103k on it and was not in anywhere near show shape. with this limited edition scion i have a head start on it.
