Weekend was a blast. I went to work on Saturday morning, slept most of the day on Saturday afternoon. Hit up some mall action than stopped at friends house.
Yesterday was church ice cream social, the bestest concert in the world at the Carnegie Library (it was Harry and the Potters and Draco and the Malphoys.) I think Jeff enjoyed himself very well.
So overall weekend was not too bad.

Hey guys i got this email from someone and i thought i would pass it along just in case anyone would like to attend.
Hello, good friends. I wanted to shoot out a promo to everyone for a fantastic event coming up at Construction Junction (CJ). This is the first annual Steel City Big Pour, a beer fest and art extravaganza at CJ in Point Breeze, on Saturday September 15th. The event is shaping up to be really cool, and we hope that you can come by. I am just joining the CJ board, so I am helping to pre-sell tickets to the event, and will be volunteering there as well. Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 after Sept 7 and at the door. There will be no less than TWENTY breweries and lots of great food from local restaurants and watering holes. Please come enjoy yourself and support a phenomenal organization!
Email or call me (412.414.9293) if you would like to buy advance tickets, or you can buy them online through the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust <http://www.proartstickets.org/> at proartstickets.org <http://www.proartstickets.org/>
Here are some more details:
Event Date: September 15th
There are two sessions: 12-3p and 5-8p (if you would like to attend both, you must buy a ticket for each)
Pre-sale up to Sept 7th $30, $40 after Sept 7.
$10 Designated Driver tickets will be available at the door
Some feature breweries in attendance: Unibroue, Ommegang, Dogfish Head, Great Lakes, Troegs, Victory, East End, Lancaster, Church Brew Works, Penn Brewery, and more...
Other features: live hot metal pour, bands, silent-ish auction, all around good times.
Location: CJ is at the corner of N. Lexington & Meade St, just one block off Penn Ave in Point Breeze
Transportation: We ask that you not drink and drive, and parking will be hectic anyway. Consider riding a bicycle if you have one, or consider taking public transit (Or ride your bike there, and put it on the bus on the way back, cuz you can do that now!). Several Port Authority buses run in the vicinity of CJ:
67A >From Sq. Hill/ Oakland
71C from Shadyside/Oakland
EBA from Shadyside/Downtown (about a 5-block walk)
For much more information, go to the CJ website: http://www.constructionjunction.org/events/index.php
If you are interested in volunteering, drop me a line and I'll connect you with the right people. Contact me if you would like more information.
Send this to all of your friends too...
