Anyone in the area interested in a custom subwoofer/enclosure for the 2008+ xB?

It sounds great! No boom, no mud, just nice, clean accent.
No wires visible!

You can't really tell in this pic, but the edge of the box is flush with the edge of the DS rear seat.

Here are the specs for the sub:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130TSW3...ures_and_specs
The box is made of 0.75" MDF, inside volume comes to ~1.432 ft^3, sub takes up 0.07 ft^3, and I added stuffing which makes the volume about 10% more coming to 1.496 ft^3. The sub calls for 1-2, 1.5 being ideal.
The amp is not included.

hey kustom. just listen to the emergency radio's for more than a day, and you'll see why 2 wheels is a bad thing.
i can't tell you how many wrecks involving motorcycles i dispatched today alone....

mostly it involves inexperience combined with lack of paying attention. The general public has the same misconceptions about safety. most from people who have never ridden.
I have a few friends who crashed doing dumb ___ things and another friend who died due to speeding around corners. I also have a friend who races pro for Yamaha. when he goes down its at 200+ people don't realize the gear will save your life, not always, but most of the time
People dont understand how wearing the proper gear can save your skin, I also know people who layed down on the high way and were able to walk away due to there armor jackets, pants and helmets.
ive been riding since I was 13, mostly I got it so i can screw around with an enduro like the Kawasaki KLXS or the Super Sherpa so glor and I can hit the mountain trails down the line
riding a motorcycle comes with risks and you have to accept those risks, and most accidents can be avoided by paying very close attention to the road. riding a motorcycle isn't for everybody nor the play it safer's
too man mountain trails and we live about 3 hours away from the biggest san dune park on the border of cali / mexico
i would love to learn how to jump the dunes out there, glor might have other ideas though

sorry kustom, but as an emergency dispatcher AND responder, i can't tell you how many wrecks i've been to that are "i didn't see the bike" or "i never knew he was there".
it's dangerous to go two wheels in this day now. be safe man.
