Anyone interested in a Rockaway Mall Meet (Dover, NJ)? I just thought it would be an ideal spot for folks in NY, NJ and PA. Thoughts?

how far from NY is Dover NJ

 

Dover, NJ is approx. a half hour or 45 min. from NYC depending on traffic. Coming from PA, it's about a half hour or 45 min. coming from Stroudsburg.

 

If this weekend wasn't so shopping-crazy, I'd say we could do it then, having a four-day weekend and all. But, as long as it's not snowing, I'm up for anytime.

 

Just say when and I'll tell you if I can make it or not!

Like any mall, it will be mobbed between now and Christmas unless we do it late night. Might be tough to find an empty place to meet.

 

Tru tru it's better to wait and hold off on the meets til next yr...unless someone lettin us use they house and got enuff parkin by them....cuz IT'S COLD

That's what the mall is for. If you get cold, you go inside to warm up and chow down on that awesome Teriyaki chicken and rice at the Japanese place in the food court. Mmm . . . Mmm. I'm getting hungry just thinkin' about it!

But I think a meet in December at any mall is crazy. We'll never find enough parking spaces because of all the holiday shoppers. I say we shoot for a weekend in January - so long as the weather holds out. I'm not willing to drive there in the snow.
