OK guys, first off - on behalf of Scion Boston Region thank you sooooo much for bearing with us on getting this together. Its lived through a couple of variations already, but we're happy to "officially" announce that Scion Exposed Boston is set to go down on Sat, Oct 14 at Six Flags New England!
Promo materials are going out as I'm typing so you'll be seeing more information in the next few days. I've attached the event outline below for your convenience - sorry, it is still an outline, but it gives you a good idea of what to expect.
Official website (www.scionexposedboston.com) will be up tomorrow and should be ready to take registrations for the event later in the day. Here's the highlights -
1. All-Scion car show - yes, fully judged and better yet - expanded with 28 (as of now) trophies up for grabs. NICE trophies.
2. If you needed only one reason to show your Scion at Exposed Boston, here it is: one LUCKY winner will have his/her Scion chosen to be featured on a regional Scion billboard campaign! Yes, on those BIG Scion billboards you see on the side of the highway. And no, its not going to be the Best of Show winner, the Scion Billboard Star Search winner will be selected by a panel of judges including the world famous Troy Sumitomo (of Five Axis fame), who we have bribed with promises of Boston baked beans and tasty NE lobster (little does he know we are taking him to Red Lobster - hope he isn't reading this).
3. Since we hooked Troy, we figured it would be cool to bring along one of his toys - the Five Axis xA Speedster. You salivated over it in SEMA coverage, now see it in person in New England for the first time.
4. Its a couple of weeks til Halloween, but its not too early for a fun Scion Halloween costume and carving contest.
5. Did we mention that the first 2,000 registered Scion owners and their guests (all must be arriving in Scions) will be given free entry into Six Flags New England? Float in and out of the park between Exposed and Six Flags activities during the day; when Exposed activities wrap up around 6PM, walk back into Six Flags (short, short walk - we will be in the preferred parking lot next to the entrance) for the start of their Fright Fest themed activities. The fun and fright don't end until 10PM!
6. If you needed a sixth highlight, its the usual Exposed goodness - gifts, giveaways, DJ stage, and more
We know everybodys busy, but we hope to see everybody for one last time this year at Scion Exposed Boston.

Dave, I have Saturdays off. I don't wanna drive home late, getting in at 2am, and then get back up at 5 for work. Trying to save lives while suffering from sleep deprivation? Not a pretty thing
