wow, that goes against the whole pure pricing strategy that scion is known for.....

 

this has been covered before, they are allowed to give rebates and discounts, especially when they are clearing out model year end inventory, it is charging above msrp that they are absolutely forbiddin to do.

 

yea its nothing special, they offered me an 07 for cheaper but i couldnt resist having the first 08 in Chicago so I bought my 08 tC

To Clarify: You have to have permission from corp. It must be Clearly posted on your site. you are allowed to charge more but the sticker from port has to match that mark up...{check rt 22 scion in jersey}

Now...lets rant a little..

Why the heck would you blow out 08's? the 09 is identical in every way..the car is no diffrent the price is no diffrent...and you still arent getting the 9's for another 7-10 days.

honestly if you have to blow out 08's...your not selling enough...lol

 

if you decide to trade or sell your scion tc in the future..the book value would be a lot higher for the 09

 

not true...05 book better than 06...go figure

 

i don't know why they do discount but def worth it 09 & 08 is identical why not get 08 for $750 cheaper, well i've got mine, super white auto w/ ped spoiler
