yea we can use adams inverter which is enough for both cars. it would be nice if we got hooked up with electric cause we have something special planned if so

Just got a phone call 2:30pm from Scion VIP . I was lucky enough to get selected for the B lounge/free hotel room.

Scion VIP said, roll in for the B Lounge is 12PM-6PM and to only have 1/8 tank of gas

Look for me with my Spider apparel at the Double tree hotel + with my wife Deb xA tagging along. See everyone there. Chad, Jim, BJ, Rene, etc My cell is 201-674-3567 so we can hook up for Drinks.

i asked when they called. they are providing power for the lounge.... now i need to buy, whatever it is i need to buy. i just called Advance Auto Parts in allston and he had no idea what i was talking about

 

yeah theyre providing power to the lounge but i wonder about people like me who arent in the lounge haha

 

just called another AAP and they seemed to know a little more. how many amps should the charger be? (what needs power is in my profile)

 

you have to pay through hin then and its 283$ for power then you need a power inverter. ill just clean the car up realllllllyy good.

How many amps? Depends on how much power your stuff uses. A 40 amp charger should be more than enough...

 

a 40 amp charger couldnt power my tv's and neons........
If you buy a 40a one, make sure its a good one.

I have a 60 now, and it powers everything, and i can even have my system play

 

Yeah well you have HOW MANY tvs? at least 6 off the top of my head!

My 40 amp powered my car just fine.... 2 sunvisor monitors, head unit monitor, subs, lights, etc.

Thanks to all of you who patiently awaited the results of the ScionVIP invitation process - by now, all invitation have been issued. As well the staff has been reaching out to confirm all ScionVIPs for the HIN Boston event.

We try our best to avoid having the process turn out like choosing teams in the schoolyard, but inevitably - with only 48 slots and much more qualified rides, we are always going to a few invitations short.

Regardless if you were issued a ScionVIP invitation or not, we hope that you are able to stop by the B Lounge during HIN Boston. The B Lounge, accessible to all show goers, will feature 8 owner vehicles chosen to represent the xB - the Scion that started it all - on the fifth anniversary of the marque.

A few notes on items that have popped on the forum. Electrical will be available to the B Lounge owners on a limited basis, and owners must have their own inverter.

For other Scion VIP competitors, electrical requests will be reviewed according to need on a case-by-case basis onsite (during roll-in).
