I registered the day this was posted, got accepted the following day and RSVPd instantly. I didn't get anything again from them about more details.

one dealership put in the wrong supercharger which in turn broke
threw some metal shavings into the block
brought it to another dealership to get fixed and spend about two months fighting to get it covered under warranty
which happened so now I am getting a brand new block, new head, and new supercharger
taking a little longer than I would like but I want it done right

That's the only way to do it.

I've been waiting for my turbo since May . Even though I'm not going to have it for the show, I'm still happy that I'm finally going to get to finish it.

Hey guys,

We're sending out the confirmation emails now and I just wanted to emphasize on the rules if you are participating in the Driving School:

Participation for on track activities requires the following:
1) Must wear long pants
2) Must wear long-sleeved shirt
3) Must wear closed-toed shoes
4) Car must pass basic safety inspection
5) Must wear latest Snell rated helmet (Scion will provide a limited amount of helmets for share use)

I got my invite and RSVP'd as well.

FYI - I've been shooting a couple emails back and forth with ScionVIP about this event.

Yes, We will be driving our own cars on the track

Requirements:
The general requirements for on-track participation are that you must:

- pass a general tech/safety inspection
- wear a long sleeve shirt
- wear long pants
- wear closed toe shoes
- wear a latest Snell specification helmet (if available – we are working to have some helmets available for guest use)
I'm also recommending you LIGHTEN your cars as much as possible, and take out ALL of the items that can roll around or possibly come loose. This is what they required us to do at the road course at Englishtown. I even took out my floor mats.

FN(*$#@JF(*@JF(*JF ___ BEST BUY AND RADIO SHACK

I can't find a universal suction cup mount so I can mount my iTouch for Dynolicious .

I'm leaving Parsippany at around 5:45-6:00AM.

Does it have to be mounted on the windshield? They probably won't allow it to be in the car unless it has a secure mount... more secure than a suction cup.

I had a camera mounted in the PTuning tC, as one of the PTuning employees, and they were both suction mounts. This track might have different rules though. I'm gonna try to create a small mold or something for the inside of the armrest, then squeeze it into that. That way it'll be hidden and I can still record.

At etown they wouldn't allow suction mounted cameras.. it had to be a solid mount.

I'm making one tonight actually. If it's successful I may make another and sell it

All it takes is a square metal or wood pole about 3/4" on each side, about 18" long (depends on how long you want it), 2 U-Bolts, 4 wing-nuts, a piece of a camera mount, and a long screw. I'll see how it goes tonight!

I saw a write up somewhere for one, basically it was just a bar attached to the passanger headrest. I'm just going to bring my suction mount for my camera, if they say no, they say no....I'll still have a friend taking pictures :D.

im ready to shake and bake baby!! looks like I will have my hands full in street class against a certain SRT-4 which placed 5th over-all in the One Lap of America race... that car is no joke! Ill just drive the ____ outta my car and hope for the best i guess.

We're heading up there tomorrow evening ( Ross Miller, my roomate who is a Lustine Scion affiliate, and his wife, and myself ) in the Lustine Tundra trailng my lil xA just in case my car decides to act up and spew a piston on the strait . Ross is working the grid and will be teching the Scions because of course... our tC isnt ready yet lol. Other part of P Tuning crew will be joining up with us on Sunday morning.

Can't wait for this great weekend!
