Default Short Shifter Install Help?

Hey I was wondering if anyone in the Quakertown PA area would be willing to help me with my short shifter install this week or weekend? I was planning on tackling it myself over the weekend with the help of the DIY Guide but i was curious if anyone in the area had expeirence and would be willing to help.....

Thanks

Nice.. It shouldn't be too difficult to put in, a buddy and I had to install the TWM one for me.

Anyways as I was saying in the other thread.. A few scion owners and I met up Fridays and Sundays.. I don't wanna say every Friday's but it seems like it. I usually set up somewhere to get food and hang out. (Oh and we aren't the group that meets up at applebee's they don't meet up anymore i don't think. The few guys fell interested in other car's as i was purchasing my 07') Sundays are our Philly meets at the Roosevelt mall. Though we have postponed that due to the freezing weather to be outside.

But yeah u know im in Telford like 5 minutes away from Quakertown. We prob have a few hanging out Friday night.. if you'd like to join.. we can even try the shifter then if you'd like i don't know how the sun is going to hold up since its going dark fairly early. But it'll be nice to see more scion owners out.. Lemme know what you want to do.

If you want we all chat on the "NEW PHILLY MEETS @ roosevelt mall"

It's a really simple install I did it on my car but the only part that sucks ***** is getting the lock washer off that's the only pain.

ya from reading the DIY page it seems simple and thats the only thing people complain about i was just looking for someone who might have already done it to ease the process a little

i hacked up my shifter case and it doesn't look pretty but does the job though lol......i got to the point where i was really mad and broke three small flat heads so I took a dremel at it and problem solved.

Yeah, we can give you a hand on Friday (I'm the buddy that helped RS3). To get that washer off is a b**ch, but we used a hammer and a butter knife to slip between it and then a flat head...then it was a matter of hammering the pin out.

the fast way in my opinion is to dremel it off since megan racing supplies you with two new lock washers anyway.
