Hey everyone, just wondering if any members live in the south Jersey shore areas. I live down in Cape May and I’ve only seen a handful of Scions around. Just seeing if any of you guys want to meet up.

I have been spotting a few more scions around town (more in the Rio Grande area). Not too many modded ones though. I did spot an rs1.0 tC with HIDs a few weeks ago and a BCP tC with factory kit and TRD exhaust. Nothing too exciting, well I guess it’s exciting to me. I did see a really nice xB a while ago too. I think it had candy red paint and some nice mesh wheels (not really sure, it was at night).

If anyone sees me around town, I’m the one with a BSP with PA tags on it.

 

My wife usually drives my box down there to the Stop & Shop in Rio Grande. It's a slightly modded TCM xB!

Being the President of a club, I see the roster, and there's only like 10 members south of Ocean County! I don't know why there aren't many owners in that area!

i live in delaware but i'm down the shore almost every weekend come summertime.

 

lets admit it, the shore is the place to be in the summer. it feels awesome, it is awesome and its even better when you cruise around in your box confusing seagulls (?)

 

I guess come summertime, I’ll be seeing a few more scions around town. I just can’t wait for it to warm up again. My car is like a frozen block every morning.

What do you guys think about setting up a meet for sometime over the summer?

It can definately happen! Set something up somewhere with alot of parking and pick a date and time (tentatively) and go from there!

 

If it's mid july or later, I'll def be there and maybe before that

 

Yea, I think a meet sometime in July or August would be nice. Just seeing how many of you guys would be able to make it. Any ideas of where everyone might want to meet?

 

Somewhere with plenty of parking! And something that is inexpensive or free usually draws more people as well!

 

I live near LBI, but when i go to school at Stockton, I see a crap load of TCs. There are so many there now. Before I used to be the one of the few, now i am one of many lol.

its going good. Not too bad just crazy with school and work. Other than that not much. Might trade my car in for a rs 3 but im not sure if i can afford it right now...we'll see...

 

Man I can’t wait for it to warm up…this weather sucks. Some guy at work just broke his door handle trying to get in his car. His door is frozen shut.

Anyway, it’s nice to hear from some people around the area. When I was living in PA, modded cars were everywhere. Now it’s rare for me to really see anything. At least there’s a car guy in my office. He drives a pretty sweet ‘93 tt rx-7. So at least I have someone to talk about cars with.

Move a lil further north then Unknown, there are plenty of car guys (and gals) up this way.

 

Yeah, well i have it on order and it is supposed to be here this week. and we'll see if i can afford it or not..bc bills are tight from xmas and not working as much bc of school...

 

I was thinking that Cape May Point might be a good place for a meet. It’s pretty much a south as you can go in NJ. It’s a park at the lighthouse with plenty of parking, and it’s right next to the beach. It has public bathrooms too (if you care about that sort of thing or not). It’s also free. It might be a hike for some of you but I think it’d be a nice spot.

The only downside is that the meet probably couldn’t be during peak season and would have to be sometime near the beginning or end of the summer. I was thinking closer to the end of the summer (maybe August or September). The lot is usually packed over the summer. I’ll try and get some pictures if any of you guys would be interested in the place.
