yes maam!

you use itunes to rip the cd's to your computer, and then transfer them from the pc to the shuffle. when you rip a cd with itunes, its about 100mb. what size ipod did u get? the 1 or 2 gb?

on the 1gb, you can fit roughly 10-12 cd's

 

it's a 1gb, roughly 240 songs.

umm, is this all still doable on a 56k? i can burn songs from my CDs onto another disc at home, so is it kinda doing the same thing only on iTunes?

56k only has to do wit the internet.

the connection between the computer and the ipod (usb cable) is how you're going to get the songs to the shuffle.

 

transferring is from pc to shuffle not from internet to shuffle
