rob have you seen the new G8?! that looks like it coud be a pretty nice ride. they priced it right also. and there is rumors of an el caminio version coming over here!!!

 

i'll have to take pictures of my merc in the parking lot here at work. i have it backed all the way up to the fence, and it still sticks out of the spot.

 

i saw an old guy park what i think was a merc similar to your big jim, between a Mini and a chevy aveo...haha i was comical to say the least

I love the new G8 when the dealer gets one i will be there test driving it for sure haha

 

hopefully its successful for them. i doubt they are making much money on it since its imported and all that. but at the least ppl will be going into a Pontiac dealer!

i read the next Solstice wont be out for a long time which means its going to wither and die and by the time the 2nd gen comes out its going to be to far gone. which is sad because in theory it should be a great car but it feels rushed to market. any kind of bumps throw it around and its very unsettling. not to mention the biggest storage compartment is the glove box.

Oh and get this Key Buick Pontiac GMC on 512 where i worked for 4 and a half years is closing their doors the owner greg wants to retire. Dude had a barn full of classic cars, Corvettes like 1960's a few of them and classic oldsmobiles and a few rare classic benz but sold them all right before i left working there it was sad

 

well its prob best the way american cars companies are heading. i wouldnt want to be stuck with a franchise of a bankrupt company.
