sorry im thinking more on like an RS side haha

I think you lose more on an RS than a regular bizzle when trading it in and it sucks!

Why the 912's? I thought you were going with the FK452's?

Or were you wanting an all-season tire?

well i sold he 18in wheels i was going to use for the summer so i need something i can use all year round on my stock 17in wheels. They actually had a write up in Grassroots Motor-sport about the 912 and said they are the best tire bargain out there right now. After shipping i got they will be about $87 each. cant argue with that

ill let you know how they drive. i figure even if they suck its better then paying $150 a tire for the stock replacements. they only lasted me 20k...they didnt like racing to much. they are a grand touring tire so i cant really complain.

Really? You'd think on a GTI they'd give you High Performance All-Seasons instead of grand touring tires.

yea. its a regional thing. the north got all season tires and the south got summer tires. if you got the 18in wheels you had an option between all seasons and summer.

they were great on the street. never had a problem. but for racing...not so much. they were really good at turning into heat and smoke though!

thats what i had

Crappy but probably better than those Potenza RE92s.

Potenzas are awesome tires for the regular street driving not racing.

Even lexus and bmw put them on their top of the line cars. I always like the potenzas

doesnt the tC come with Potenzas? i drove a tC and the tires would squeal even on a soft launch.that could have more to do with the gearing. 1-2 felt really short.
