I think I'll be fine with watching. I'm not a queasy kind of person. We'll see when the time comes, I guess.

Good, don't miss the birth of your child. With my oldest he didn't breathe right away. The nurse couldn't get him to either. I saw the panic in the doctor and nurses faces and they said "get over here dad and spank him" So whap! he got his first spanking from dear old dad (and many more would come over the years :-) ) at less than a minute old. But because of insurance reasons and fear of being sued they woul;dn't smack him so I had to. I was furious and later had some good words with the hospital over that.

My daughter's was so fast the doctot barely had turned around from putting on his coat and pop there she was, he had to almost catch her, no lie! It was like watching a popcorn machine. LOL

Then Vinnie, oh man. She was in and out of the hospital for weeks with false labor and severe pains. Then when the day came she dilated and then nothing. She had to be induced and when the labor came on it came on hard and he still took his time coming out, she suffered with his.

Each were different and the best memories you could ever have.

Congratulations pal, enjoy!

This just in!!! haha

We went to the doc today and he said the baby is 8 lbs 3 oz. Give or take 1 pound. Which means she's nice and healthy. Kerri will go into surgery (C-Section) on Friday, January 27 at 12 noon. Then we will be proud parents.

Thanks everyone for caring and wishin' us well. We truly appreciate it.

Hmm. Scheduled C-Section? Your girl's gonna be too big to come out naturally?

C section has become so popular the past 10 years im not surprised. It may actually be easier on the mother and the baby to take it vs. inducing labor and trying to force the kid out.

Thanks Chris for explaining that. That's a good point.

She, however, is havin' a C because she won't dilate. None of the females in her family did. The baby is good size, and is headed in the right direction. BUT she's not in the "birth canal" yet. Therefore a C is necessary.

Today if you're a certain age or have a history of problems, they will automatically schedule a C-section. If they know you can't dilate or give "natural" birth, they don't want the mother goin' through the pain of labor. It would be pointless.

Yes, we finally had the baby!! The silly child didn't wanna wait til tomorrow morning, like we all planned.

The water broke today around 5:30 PM. So we did some things here, then went to the hospital.

At 7:58 PM she was born! Weighin' in at a whopping 9 lbs 1 oz, and towerin' others at 21 3/4 inches!

Now, we'll be at the hospital for the next couple days, probably til Monday. Feel free to gimme a call!!

Thanks everyone for all of your support!!! We greatly appreciate it!!!

We love MOST of you people here!! lol

Dennis, Kerri, and Brianna!

Oh, here are some pics!
