Anyone live in the Allentown, PA area? If so, do you know of a good place to get a car tinted? Do not really care about $..just want a really good job. Thanks

 

I'd be curious to know as well. What about Auto Addictions on Tilghman Street in (West Allentown/Fogelsville)? Do they do good work. I want to get my front windows tinted the same as the back on the xB.

 

Yo Everyone...

I've been looking for 20 minutes on this topic and haven't found the answer yet, so here it goes...

My TC will be in next week (cool!) and the dealer is charging $239.00 to do the tinting for whatever % I want although they said they will take no responsibility if I get pulled over for the tint. Does anyone know what the legal tint % is for PA? I have heard lots of conflicting stories from 35% to NONE AT ALL to the fact that there is some sort of loophole where the police can't bust you for tint.

I would REALLY appreciate anyone in PA's input! Thanks and I'm looking forward to 'officially' being a part of the Scion crew!

My husband has a license to inspect motorcycles and cars in PA. It is not illegal to have your windows tinted in PA and it is not a problem for vehicle inspection, however, if you get pulled over by the Police, they could possibly write you up for it.

BTW, I looked all over to have my XA windows tinted. I found the prices vary from $150 to $280. I also found out that most places (the ones that are on the high end of pricing) have someone come in and do the tint. I found a guy in the Northeast that did it for $140 and it is ABSOLUTELY perfect !!!!!
