I'm finally ready for the next meet! I actually did some more stuff to my car for the first time in ages!!! :D It's just engine bay prettyness but at least now I can leave my hood up at shows. I got a shiney injen engine cover, a million miles of green and chrome wire loom, some billet caps and a nifty strut bar. Just thought I'd share. :D What has everyone else been doing???

hey guys... you're missing pretty fun show at the saturn dealer rigt now! lots of different cars. it should be going for another hour or so so stop by... being a spectator is free.

 

that was fun! totally packed with cars and spectators. about 150 cars. I even got a door prize... a 15" yelow LED bar from street glow. yellow's not my color but I'm excited to have something to mess with and tryout in different places. They'll be doing it again next year but in the meantime there's always their Mt Wolfe show on August 11th! I'll be going there and to the WRevolution show that night.

I've got a whole new engine bay that looks pretty good, even by my standards... I actually saw several people taking pictures of it last night too. Well, they were either taking pics of the engine bay or the little green xB and IKEA ghost lights I had in it. Probably the latter.

speakin of the saturn car show.. do you know if i won anything.. cuz we just all left.. we went down there to support my buddy's shop.. DMS Performance.. and well let me say i wasn't impressed at all.. like there were very very few nice cars there.. all i can say is a lotta mexicans with the beat ___ ____..

yeah, corey you didn't seem like you wanted to be there in the first place. I'm surprised you stayed as long as you did! I don't think you guys won anything though because I think all of the trophies were accounted for at the end of the night. I know the big bad blue tC won a few things. Of course!

Since it was their first annual event, I'm sure they'd like to hear some suggestions for improvements next year if you have some! Maybe the lack of bikini and burnout contests kept you from having fun?

Oh well, like I said, I had fun. For a 1st annual local show, it was a great turnout and $10 to enter is dirt cheap. I really liked seeing some cars I hadn't seen a thousand times before at every other tuner event in the area too. I found plenty of good/bad/goofy things to look at. :D

 

xB is lookin good april but yea I wish I could have come to the show but some things came up and I couldn't make one but hopefully I'll meet up with you guys next weekend ;)

 

big bad blue tc was it a wide body with custom lightning paint work??

Jeff is has an 06 xB with lots of TRD goodies and custom sub/amp box. Ray and I ran into him at a show a few weeks ago. He's not online much so i'm speaking up for him. And he would've showed up with just the 4 of us but I wanted to put the pressure on everyone.
