Default ABS issue thread...I need help from the locals!

Have you guys seen this thread?
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=140472

If not, can someone read it and help me out?? I'm having these same ABS issues, no suspension mods, on our horrible MA roads - which makes an even bigger problem!

Are any of you having the same problem? Any suggestions? What can I say to the dealer (yay Clair!) to get them to "fix" it? I'm still under warranty...but I don't want to do the run around with the service dept.

Thanks!

I have found an easy solution for half these problems. Leave LOTS of room between you and the car in front of you. And if another car fills that spot, back off again.

Honestly, I do leave plenty of room. But what I'm really worried about is that the ABS is actually acting this way 4000 miles into the car. All 3 other cars I've owned have had ABS and I've never run into this problem. It's abnormal for sure, and in bad drivers, could pose a safety problem.

If it makes you that uncomfortable then you should take it to the dealership. I know that even if they don't do much to fix it, at least you have some kind of record on the problem. That way if anything does happen, it's on them not you.

Clair is really good with tc's. That's why most of us go there. Cuz they know what there doing.

for the most part... if there is no documented fix for the tech's, then they dont know what to do. As much as I love Clair, they didnt have a clue about the hatch rattle and couldnt/didnt fix it.
