probably cus it rained rediculously 1/2 way through the show.

i didnt get judged before the rain either, the judge lazily came by 1/2 an hour before judging to see my car after 6 hours of looking for a damn judge. shawn from the booth and i walked around consistently to find a judge.

put it this way. Scion VIP rocks. HIN sucks. they definatly did a ____ttyass job this year. and hopefully they realize that this isnt cali and we cant have out door shows like that. next year i hope its at teh expo center again.

they really didnt think it through this year and i wrote them an e-mail explaining how ____ed a lot of people were

i think that the weather turning bad at the end did put a big damper on the show, but otherwise it was a lot of fun. everyone seemed to be having a great time joking around with eachother and hanging out, and for the most part of the day the weather held up and was beautiful.... yeah it sucked for the cars parked in the grass after the rainfall, but what can you do... nobody complains during shows like Battle of the Imports or NOPI when they are at the same venu, only because during those events it did not rain like it did yesterday... however when it rains like yesterday you cant all of a sudden then start saying it shouldnt have been there and whatnot

my point is that it was a good time, and the weather turned bad but that was not controllable just like any other shows we go to. thanks to scion VIP, urban racer, and all the other people who made it happen... it was good seeing everyone too

well i guess only thing that im upset about is that HIN charged for the parking and were only there for less than an hour. i dont speak on behalf of anyone who was there earlier and im sure i would have had a blast if i was there earlier. i told them in the e-mail i understand weather is uncontrollable but if it was expected then it should have been rescheduled to sunday which was expected to be nicer

its not as easy as 1-2-3 to completely reschedule a nationally publicized event like HIN, especially when they spend tens of thousands on renting a venu, only to have to pack up and head down to NJ to set up the next one. it might sound easy, and its very easy for local shows to be postponed, but national shows like this where people come from all parts of the northeast and even further... nope.

im not saying i dont agree with you that the rain at the end of the night sucked, and yeah it probably sucked to have to pay for parking but it is what it is. overall it was a good show and it was a lot of fun, which is the most important thing at the end of the day after all is said and done

hey look at it this way.....the wet t shirt contest was that much more fun...to bad I wasn't there I'd won fo sho LOL.....glad to see everyone had such a good time....any outdoor event ya gotta deal with stuff.....rain...hot.....the sound of a drag Mazda idling by your head at 3 in the am....the sound of the waves crashing against the beach....the drunkin.....ok well stop there....my point is ya make the best of it. Yeah it sucks that the parkin was in mud...next time wear your boots....they also charged for parking when it was at the expo center so no savings there sorry. Hopefully everyone will have a good time this weekend at E Town. Weather is supposed to be nice. If it looks like rain thou remember this....umbrella, waiders ( spelling sorry) maybe even a lil raft or rubber ducky. Just have fun LOL....and smile....but remember YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Default Good times dial up fo-get-a-boud-it lots of pics

Good times Whole lotta laughing.... Joey from FCR got himself a girlfriend. She was a bit of a snob. But hey what can you say.

The judging did have a bit to be desired. VIP had to go hunt the judges down to get them to even look at our whips. By that time it was dark, cars were a mess and the true appearanceo f the cars was not on display. Props to both Salik and Ramon on their win. Well desrved.

Now for the pictures..
