So we got some 2 toners in the crew and some custom colors in the crew i was thinking of 2 toning my car... We bought my pops a nice ___ paint gun for x-mas. thing i wanted to know was how to go about painting it. should i just tape off wut i want to stay white and wut i want black sand down prime then paint?

 

omggg, i would LOVE a paint gunn! hahaha.. then i could go on a painting frenzy! the rattlecan painting wasn't cutting it for me.

but yeah, pretty much, just tape down what you want white, and sand down what you want to be painted and primer it. don't forget to wetsand after the color coat, and add more coats!

 

hmmm ill have to run it by my dad see if hes up to it hes painted many a cars so he probaly has done it befor just figured id see how the process would go.. His old gun wasnt a gravity fed one so we got him one for x-mas friken 350 doller gun better shoot some good spray!

 

if your dads done it before than i say do it.
if you wanted to do it and this would be your first time i wouldnt recommend.

 

he painted that one and like one other car that is in our garage and a few of his friends and hopfuly my nova soon also hes painting the del sol this weekend ill post pics of the beast when its done heh but with all this painting and stuff i was pondering. The idea for the 2 tone i have i think will give the front end a more aggressive look

im gunna run it by him when i see him. Friken heater for my fish tank blew up in the tank! lucky none of my fish died was loud tho and shot water and the cover right off didnt brake glass tho thank god!

So the insurance is going to pay the value of my car and since I had gap insurance, my bank's going to pay the rest off.

I decided to say goodbye to Scion and move on to Honda. I will miss Scion VERY much. I plan on getting a Civic Si.

 

sorry to hear, but good thing insurance is going to handle it all.
now, A CIVIC!?!?!.... jk. i have one too, they're nice. I like the interior of those much more than the scions.
