Sadly no. She knew she was getting the Yaris way before she even had her license. Nothing against Scions, she just needed a small nothing special car.

On the way home from Exposed, I asked her if she was interested in doing some mods to her car. She said no. But don't worry, since the day she got the car she's wanted me to change the LEDs in her center console. Nothing I can't handle! :D

Did you save the instructions from the Hotchkis sways? Contrary to my promise to myself after doing yours, I bought one. Don't know what the hell I was thinking. Got a front only though, need to find a rear somehow.

 

I figure out to to do mine by reading all the DIY's out there.

You basically sand, sand, prime, paint, wet sand, etc...

The more you sand, the smoother!!

 

Haha I would do her LEDs during our "together time" on the weekends. During the week is Scion LED swapping time, aka yours. Chances are, yours will be done first though. She still needs to get comfortable with me tearing apart her console. Lol.

As an fyi, Hotchkis recommends to ONLY install both at the same time as the stiffness of just one may cause drastic over/understeer. I noticed that kid selling just the front and I really wanted to say something but I didn't. Might be really tough to find just the rear.

hey ben, i just got paint from home depot. my color is rustoleum royal metallic blue, and then i got the crystal clear enamel. the trick to getting it really shiny is wet sanding in between clear coats. don't wet sand the color though. and when wet sanding, use the finest grit paper, and don't sand it too much. you just want to get the surface all even. if you sand too much, you'll end up sanding the clear coat instead of the imperfections.. does that make sense?
