6 flags was fun.. and a GREAT turn out.... I won my first Scion plaque! 3rd place pumpkin carving... HA! I think Eric can appreciate my Scion award.... (=

Wonder what they are going to do... hmm.....

Racing looks fun! But I'll wait for a Scion VIP event next year in NJ.. makes me feel better racing next to other Scions for my first racing experience.

Yeah right. if you mess up next to other scions owners they will clown you on scionlife. your better off racing strangers how doesn't really care and they only care about their track time and the next race.

We should go autoX. You dont need to have a fast car, all you need is driving skills to race in that event.

Main gate was closed when I got there on Saturday afternoon, had to go to the entrance way down the end of the 'spectator' parking lot and drive back through the dust bowl (perfect after just washing the car). I asked the first 'flag waver' about VIP, he had no idea. Next guy didn't know either, but I finally found someone who did - had to drive all the way back to the pit entrance, more dust. Girls at the ticket booth simply stamped my hand when I asked about VIP, but they had no idea where the tent or anything else Scion related was located. Scion tent was empty when I found it, so much for lunch. I eventually found Salik and Eric, and heard the problems they had earlier in the morning. Quite the cluster f*ck, but hey - it was free.
I would have thought they could have gotten their sh*t together by Sunday though.

there was a big tent near the dragway itself, and we were told that was the scion hospitality tent to get free food. it wasnt labeled scion or anything, and there werent people working there wearing scion stuff. a bunch of non-scion people got free food too, since there was no one there to check if you were a scion owner or not. if you were to just look, you wouldnt know it was a scion tent. there was the widebody yellow xA from F1 and rado's spy tC on display under a scion tent near the main stage, and they were just handing out those booklets/magazines. the only reason this was so unorganized and $hitty was because urban racer was not involved. i guess we're spoiled, but at the same time if Scion posted this on their website and expected people to show up, they should have had better coordination with the people at the dragway. it was frustrating to say the least, especially when they only let me in the first day since i was pre-registered, and even then they put me all the way back near the swamp until they "found" a scion section for us. boo, 2 thumbs down

The Scion people must have been hanging with you Friday night, D. I bet they sent the NE Dragway people a text message at 4am saying "wake me" then went to bed too tired to plan for weekend. Then woke up after we had got there and were too lazy to get their act together. Yep, must've been with you.

I'm bashing on you today D. Don't take it personal. :D
