MA POTHOLES

MA POTHOLES
I took the girlfriends 2011 TC out for a spin since she is out of town. I hit a gigantic pothole. Her rim and tire seem okay and I didn't notice any shaking after. The suspension on the car is very stiff, can these cars take a bit of a beating? From what I have read I need to check for a bubbling in the tire. Any one else have problems with potholes? Does insurance cover it, or does it raise your rates? Hopefully I am freaking out for nothing.

This state sucks. Route 99 has cost me my rim and tire.
You're most likely fine if you visually see nothing
If you did it would not be covered by insurance but's not very expensive either.
$50 to straighten the wheel and $100 for a new tire.(depending on where you go)
Warranty might cover it. I vaguely remember the dealer telling me about paying extra and it would cover pot holes as well.
