Default Paint and Detail Question???

Hey all, this summer I planned on getting some detail work done on my car but had a few other issues i wanted to square away as well. I have the Viniati fierce lip kit and the front lip is 'nicked' to hell from alot of highway use. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a place locally that I could take it in and have the detail work done as well as fix that issue with my front lip... Thanks for any feedback!

For the nicks, I know at least two people will say FCR in Weymouth...

For detail, buy a Porter Cable 7424 and do the work yourself. Up front cost is a b1tch but then you have the tools to detail your car whenever you want for free.

FCR? Yea i believe ive seen a couple of posts mentioning that place. Do you happen to know if they are reasonable price wise? And as far as the Porter Cable idea, i will defniently consider it if the price to have it proffesinally done is too crazy.

FCR is good if you have a lot of downtime and what not, they do good work but take a while, your in rhode island and if your just having the front lip/front bumper done id maybe take it to HI-TECH in warwick... but even they arent that great definately dont take your car to them if youre installing a cf hatch...

Well I guess I will jus keep checkin around.... I work nights and a lot of of details and OT during the day so I can't be without my car for 'too' long. Either way for good work and a decent price I'm willing to work around their work schdule.

what people fail to realize is that sometimes custom work takes a while and that we have given FCR so much business lately that they are backed up with just SCIONS! its incredible how backed up they are just because of us Scions there, let alone all the other custom work they are doing on audis, bmws, etc etc.

for quality work, sometimes the wait is well worth it. also you get what you pay for, so you can go to joe shmo's place and pay $200 to get a paintjob, but let me tell you how frustrated youll be when you park next to a car that got painted and worked on at a real quality place.

hit me up or hit mike up about FCR's work, or just check the pics of my car out that are here in my profile. they do all my work. i agree they may take a while on certain projects, but that just goes to show you how much demand they are in these days.
