Default NYS Emissions in Long Island

Anyone know any shops that does not perform the visual inspection or would overlook that part of the emissions in long island?

I don't throw a code. But i have a turbo kit with a ptuning exhaust and If you stand behind it while it's running it's pretty obvious that I don't have a cat.

Im also nervous because i heard once they fail you, you have to get that fail remedied at that shop. Do they normally even put it up on a lift?

They make sure the F/R brakes are OK, make sure all of your lights, turn signals and brake lamps work. They are "supposed" to check the alignment and wheel thread. And what really makes or breaks the inspection is the OBD-II scan. If it doesnt show a CEL, 99% of the time you pass.
