i remember one time when i was on central ave on thurs night by kohls... there was a couple ppl from a race track passing out flyers trying to promote legal racing as opposed to street racing...

it was a circular(dont think it was oval) track somewhere in ny near poughkipse... but i lost their flyer and have had no luck finding them...

does any one know of any tracks where they let you run your own car and its NOT a 1/4 drag strip?

 

are you talking about this http://www.topgunse.com/ ? trying to build a dragstrip, nascar track, and gokart track on the Island. Been going on for awhile.

 

no this is an actual place... it is open or was as of last year and i had plans to go up.... it was something like $60 to race all day...
and it looks like Etown is opening a really nice looking track this summer...
