Blue skies, birds chirping, twisty city streets, wind blowing through your hair, and scenic views you won’t find anywhere else in the world. That is San Francisco!!!
Your local Toyota & Scion dealership would like to take full advantage of this modern day marvel. San Francisco Toyota & Scion, along with other local sponsors, presents “San Francisco 49 Mile Scenic Road Rally.” This road rally (NOT A RACE) will take place on Sunday morning, July 22, 2007 at the historic Presidio National Park “Cannon Square.” Teams of two (driver and navigator) will meet up for a nice continental style breakfast prior to the rally.
Once the rally begins, each team will get to enjoy the vintage and modern landmarks that San Francisco has to offer. From the breath taking views of the Golden Gate Bridge, to AT&T park the home of the San Francisco Giants. Cruise the Great Highway near the crashing waves of Ocean Beach, to the calm stunning views of Twin Peaks; drivers will indeed appreciate the city like never before.
During the rally, teams will be given tasks to perform that will earn them Scion tokens. The more tokens each team earns, the more prizes of unspeakable value will be awarded.
After the rally, participants will get to spend the day enjoying festivities such as: the Revealing of the All New 2008 Scion xD, Scion Car Show, TRD Mobile Display, Scion customizing tips & tricks of the trade from local vendors and enjoy an unforgettable BBQ lunch from Catering by Greg.

Old Steve McQueen film. Features one of the first high speed car chases filmed with the camera from the POV inside the pursuing and pursued car. Really awesome chase through the hills of SF. You can almost feel the huge bumps when they go downhill in SF, and they hit the flats where the cross streets are. That'd be fun to do... in someone else's car....with no traffic....
