Default Any way to get a discount on a new Scion?

I'm shopping for a new scion and was wondering if there were any dealers in the SF Bay Area that have given discounts on new cars. If not an official discount on the car itself, then do they give free accessories? I did a search but wasn't able to find anything about this.

There are no Discounts on scions when purchasing them, BUT as far as accessories; thats something you will have to discuss with your sales person when you purchase your Scion. Go for a test drive today!! :D

***Must finance through Scion/Toyotal to qualify.***

You won't barter the price, but you may be able to do something with accessories, warranty, or the like...

The Toyota dealers are bound by contract not to discount the cars. The pricing is fixed, if they offer the discount and are caught doing so they loose their Scion franchise.

Scion has the Student Discount and that is about all there is.

I too tried this avenue, one of our close family friends is a GM at a Scion dealer in Los Angeles, that is how I got this information. We were also advised that the employee discount for a Scion is a whopping $100 off the window sticker. From my understanding Scion pricing is to be posted in the dealership, they can not deviate from any of the pricing, warranties, accessories, etc. as posted.

Should you decide to move forward with your purchase, buy the car stock, do you add ons throught the online dealers, McGeorges, Sparks, etc. They offer great discounts on their items, but they are online deals only, if you call the parts counter the price changes.

Thanks for all the valuable info...I'll try to get them to throw in some freebies, but definitely won't pay MSRP for any of the accessories I'm interested in.
