I want to tint the tails on my 06 tc don't feel like paying an overcharging tint shop that we have here in town I can order up some precuts, I just personally suck with tint, never been good with the stuff and my patience with it is terrible

 

i do know that the cops are good at catching you with it! after my second non-correctable $140 ticket i pulled mine off. not to be a negative nancy just giving ya a heads up on it

 

hmm I guess they've gotten worse then, I had my tails and heads blacked OUT, on my Tacoma but that was years ago, I think I'll give it a go for a bit and if a cop becomes a dick I'll take it off, but there are alot of cars in my town that have their tails completely blacked

 

I got mine from sticker city, In Sherman Oaks. Just use soapy water and they give you a little tool for applying it. The soapy water gives you a lot of time to get things just right. I made sure mine weren't too dark to avoid tickets. But it still looks good. I got pulled over for it once. But the cop was just giving me a hard time. (Tried to bust me for noisy exhaust. It's stock, and Intake. Just one of those types.) I ignored his request to remove them, and haven't been bothered since. More than a year ago.
