Default Anyone in Nor Cal

Hi,

My question goes out to those folks in Nor Cal (preferably SF BAY) that have done their interior pillars and headliner up in suede. I have the 08 tC and heard that if you incorrectly take it off and incorrectly re-install it that it's quite dangerous. But in other news Can any of you help me out when I get around to installing the suede in my tC? I really haven't see any DIYs for the suede headliner for the tC or for suede interior for that matter only 1., 2....etc...

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks

He works out of his home in San jose - off aborn I think.

You can also DIY of course. You could ask Trung (squalllheart) to give you a hand. He did his headliner in pink. (lightish red). It hurts my eyes and makes grown men weep tears of shame, horror, and regret, but the fabric went on fairly easy.

haha Thanks for the info. I would DIY if i had a "how-to remove headliner" but since i don't i'd sorta prefer the help of a more experienced person and i don't want to damage any of the plastic parts that help keep everything in tact...especially my a-pillars with air bags ><

Your A-Pillars have air bags in them? That would be a splitting headache if it deployed...

The plastic of the A-Pillar would hit you in the face first LMAO.

how long would it take for the head liner & some of the pillars to be wrapped would this be a all day job or would you nneed to drop your ride off & pick it up on a different day ?

I have plans but needs to know prices & also how long of a wait for install also what happens if the fabric starts to peel off or tear ?

does anyone have any recommendations for the Sacramento area ?

ITs a 2 day job really... your glue needs to fully set on all the pieces... and the stripping of the headliner is a pia.

a headliner wrap and the pillars only takes but a few hours to do. I did it myself though, and have did the process about 4 times in my tC.

O2 Creations does good work, I've seen Bens interior.

I bought my fabric at Joanns Fabric store, and an adhesive called "Headliner Spray", its like contact cement in a can. Works great! If your gonna go the DIY route, you'll need 2 yards at least dedicated to the headliner, and maybe 1 more yard for all the pillars with extra fabric to make room for error. The only thing costly in this DIY is the damn adhesive, its 20 bucks a pop!

Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
