small, crowded, ugly models, crappy drifting, horrible organization, and some people got stiffed of parking spots

a couple years ago they held it in pleasanton but it was more spread out and bigger, plus they had the signal drift team demo which was 100X better than the dunlop drift cars there....

Most of the cars there were sexy as hell, High-end & TWC holdin it down as always...and seen some cars in person were crazy like the ARC evo and the NOS Lexus SC Drifting was pretty nutty. i thought the freestyle motorcross was pretty good and the concert wasnt that bad.

overall worst HIN ive been to

i went around.. hung out with friends...

it was okay... saw some friends i haven't seen in forever and then some other people.

location? small.
people/crowd? okay.
music? loud as usual.. just ignored whatever i could
(concert? what concert? i remember someone saying something about Pitbull? *shrugs*)
models? few of the usual ones you typically see (i saw misa campo in person for the first time... so i was kinda happy. saw jenny chu again, kt so, christine mendoza, melyssa grace, and then talked to and met few others that were awesome and nice as well)
motocross? cool..
friends? that's about my highlight of the night.

yeah...this HIN was definitely small compared to the one in San Mateo, but it didn't seem as crowded as San Mateo...go figure...

Highlight for me was the Pitbull concert!!! I guess not everyone knows who he is...

Very small venue, but the cars weren't too bad. What did you guys think of Team Hybrid's cars?

I have some pix posted HERE.

Only watched one session of drifting and thought it was okay. Would have been better if there was actually a track or even some cones to follow. Must admit one thing was better than San Mateo... the line getting in took less than 2 minutes. Also having the models in a tent worked out better for photography since we could bounce the flash off the tent (no I don't have a fancy flash deflector).

Daytime....

Bounce flash at night...

^^ Yay for Melyssa She was featured in the same Super Street issue as me.

Wish I could have made it down this weekend - really not up for a 10+ hours drive, though.

Congrats on taking home Best Mild Scion, Chris I know you were amped to get that after HIN Seattle. :D

Nice! The second picture is nicely exposed. Just off topic... What and How you bounce flash, involves using a reflector or something?
