I regret to inform everyone that Sean (MyBox) has suffered a fire at his house and has suffered the loss of the Scion, as well as the Beetle race car he had worked on for many years as well as the blue Caddy many of us in NVS have rolled around in. Also lost were many rare and unique parts, tools, and car stuff that only he knew how to get....We'll try to get more info for everyone throughout the evening. He just thought everyone should know. Everyone is ok, and although the house sustained major damage, everything within the house seemed to make it through ok....just keep him and his family in your thoughts in the coming days and weeks.....

I'm glad that your family and everyone made it out ok. How did the fire start? What happened?

I may just have to take a trip up there to visit and bring back the 'ol shopping cart antics and howard the duck routines!

 

I talked to Sean today to tell him he won the miami trip and he told me. That just sucks but at least he and the family are ok.

That totally sucks.... Hopefully we can all come together as a Scion family and help him through this.

I'm so incredibly sorry that happened to you and the family. After having gone through that with our own family I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy let alone a friend. Sorry to hear about the box, Cadi and the bug, but I'm glad to hear that the family is physically alright (emotionally is prbably another story right now huh?) and that the rest of the house survived. Let Jim and I know if there is anything we can do to help. We'll be there in a hot minute. Please give your family our best and you all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

First I have to thank Jesse (Jessr) for his support during the fire and all members of team NVS, and then all of you here @ scionlife for your support!! I think this is the worse thing could happen to anyone but I guess it's either your luck or the challenge of your life and there is nothing we can do about it!! Thanks again for all your support!! This will not push me a way from my scion family, and I always will be here to support them as much as I can. I let the pictures speak for themselves!!
