www.scion.com

Build your car. Add tax, title and whatever and that's the price you pay. There is no haggling prices on Scions.

interest rates were lower before. they are going up. you're looking at price + tax + title and tags.

Because that's the way Toyota wanted it. Otherwise, it would have been a Celica and cost 2g's more with 1/2 the equipment. As a result, you get a load of standard features (name another car in the catagory that has the same equipment and is similarly priced), an easy purchase process, and absolutely insane resale value (just go shopping for a used tC).

Yes and no my friend. If you want to negotiate go look at domestic vehicles. You could save about 4 grand but you'll cry when the resale is half of what you paid for it next year. If you have researched cars in this class you will find that a similiar car with equipt such as the tC will run you in the mid 20's. Scion gives you huge bang for your buck. Why are you wanting to negotiate so much anyway? To feel like you got a good deal? Just curious do what you will, but even if you could negotiate a scion you would save MAYBE 300? Their markup is absurdly low. Just follow this recipe:

How to love your Scion

1) Build online
2) Go to Dealer
3) Pay and take your keys
4) Love her, drive her, and clean her.

my OTD is 19K about. i gotten a stock alarm system with floor mats. That's it. Scion already comes with a bunch of other stuff.

You kinda dont need the options on the car if you dont have the money for it. Again it's a option so it's your choice.

Mine was 20800 OTD cause i got side airbags(My dad said i needed them) and then since my parents just got a prius like 4 months before that at the same dealer i got the thing were they wax your car for 5 years for 600 bucks. The side airbags were around 650.

For the haggaling on the price, you can't try to lower the price for the car but you can try to get free options and stuff like that, or cheaper options.

I got floormats for free as well after I told them I didn't want/need them. Thanks Scion of San Francisco!!

The one-price policy is truly a good thing, any other car manufacturer will throw in a bunch of useless options on top of the price of the car, whereas a Scion comes as a clean slate at a low price and allows you to add in whatever combo of parts you want. And the resale is good...they had a used xB on the lot that was selling for more than a new one if you can believe it!

I got mine from City Toyota. Scion of SF only had a ton of Spec models and automatics when I went in.

The Toyota dealership in San Francisco were very easy to work with. When I went to talk to the Toyota dealership in Daly City, they wanted to add options to the car that I didn't need. They even denied that they could delete those options and said they had no control over the car, but that I just had to buy it and that was that. They did not get my business, obviously! Anyone with half a brain could go on the Scioin corporate website and find out about the one-price policy.

Lithia in vacaville lets you haggle on accessories only and not the ones most people get like spoiler and stuff but liek the waurranty extension (spelled wrong?) and oil changes...
