Default Broken Window

My driver's side front window (the one you can scroll up and down) is broken by somebody stealing my radar detector. Does anyone know any place where I can get a replacement for that window near San Francisco? Thanks.

Try calling Dave Gille at the Scion Service Dept at Stevens' Creek Scion in San Jose. You'll have to check the website for Stevens Creek Scion. I doubt he'll be able to recommend anyone all the way up in SF but maybe he knows someone in that area.

Do they have OEM glass? Their price is great. just wondering if the color matches and fits 100%?

give Glass on the move. I have used them several times over the years and they have always done a good job.

I warn you my dads window was broken from someone stealing his GPS in san jose and the people we took it too replaced the window great and dandy but left all the glass in the door so we could deal with all the rattling everytime we open the door. I've heard it wasn't the first time for people to actually do that. GOOD LUCK and sorry to hear that you got hit by the poor people too.

is there anyway i could open up the door assembly up and clean out the glass so rattling doesn't happen? I know what you mean. When I close the door now, i heard some of the glass trying to fall out, but nowhere can be seen.

i personally would contact Dave Gille at stevens creek scion and let him know what happened and he is one of the few people that will do it right the first time.

You could probably just pop the door panel off, there is a few clips along the bottom and sides, and then just clean it out. I took my panels off for speakers and it wasn't all that difficult. Getting the glass out may be though

I never had that problem with the windows i replaced. Glass on The Move took care of all the broke glass when they replaced the window. They did a great job.

I asked R&R and did the replacement. Haven't checked how smooth it will be cuz they said the glue/adhesive would take 24 hr to dry... the replacement window looks a bit clearer than green. I'll take a look at it under sunlight tmr. It's not that expensive. If it looks a bit clearer than the OEM ones, is there any tint i can match the OEMs? or at least make it less obvious?
