Should I take 280 to Alamden or 85? Which way has less traffic coming from SF? I tried 85 yesterday going to Big Dog's Grill and it was kinda stuck at times, but that was later in the day. Any suggestions?

 

Both 85 and 280 will slow down. I would recommend stayin on the 280 as it never gets stopped as 85 will when it goes to 3 lanes etc

 

85 is always 3 lanes... except around mountain view...

lol yea driving with lights is bad...Anywho isn't 85 four lanes for a while coming from Palo Alto Hills then before De Anza it goes to 3 lanes and slows down and hits the 17/880 traffic

 

yeah... but after that its all 3... hahaha im thinking from where i live down... and thats all 3 lanes. probably 280-87 maybe is your best bet or even taking local. depeing on when you guys get there. imma take the afternoon off so ill have a prime spot. gotta get the car washed too!

 

I was thinking about taking 1/2 day off to vacuum the car and maybe wax the hood too. Beating traffic would be a good idea. Thanks for your help with the traffic, guys.
