It seems that the way of car meets and and going to shows have lost it's way. There have been an Exodus of people, I both love and care for as friends and family, that no longer attend or want to attend events. There has been several reasons for this. Here is what I believe what they are.

1. Peeps always wanting to lead and be the first car in the pack representing that they are the lead car.

2. Thinking having a fully modded car or box proves that there car and themselves is either better or superior then anyone else.

3. Talking ____, acting immature, and just not being cool down to earth peeps. (Don't Front, Be Yourself)

I'm not saying I haven't done these things myself, but I've corrected my ways and wish to the next generation of Keeping Everything Real. Whether peeps like you or not, that's there decision, but be real to yourself, your family, and your friends.
Remember the best thing about your car or box, is that it gave you the chance of meeting life long friends. That is something I will never give up on!!

Thanks to everybody I have meet along the way.......Tim and Quinn who first welcome me at LeMans meet and having breakfast at Denny's. Dave for just being a down to earth guy and solid person (leo's rule). Brad for being a respectable big brother and helping a friend no matter what. Chad and Pulo for rushing over to the house when I was in the car accident. XA Dave for truly having a uplifting personality. Thanks to the Hawaiian Family for family support. Joe for always have an upbeat personality, no matter what situation someone is in. CeeDub & Pumpkin for all the support. Brian and Monica for being the cutest couple, especially when your lit!! Ray for having Popeye's chicken and the cleanest box. Little chinatown for all my jokes. Drew for being relax and laid back. Eujin for always taking those damn sexy pic's of everybody's vehicle's. Gabe for lunch. Keith for being a good family man. And so many more...............

These are the reason I will always stay as long as possible. Leave all the bull____ behind and concentrate on all the good things you have obtain through car clubs, meet, shows, and special events. There will always be some DRAMA, something that will erk you in some way. As long as you have great friends and family or look on the bright side of things you'll be just fine.

A promise from me, is that once you make friends with me, I'll always be your friend. No matter which way we choose in life, we will always be friends!!

 

 

That's what happens when you own a Scion unfortunately. That's why I hang with the 8th Gen Si's! They're much nicer . I still love my scion to death though and always show some love to the hondas

 

This is part of why I left my club. Whatever happened to just going to shows and whoever shows -- shows! I miss that part of it. I prefer to fly solo now.

 

Yay for friends and family!!! I agree, it's not about the cars, but the people I spend time with. I don't own a Scion, but I thank the person who brought me into the Scion and car show world; and thank everyone who welcomed me. No one is perfect, but I'm glad to be accepted as a family/friend in the Scion community. Thanks!

^x2. When people buy parts from me and we meet up they always ask me if I'm in a scion club. I love solo or 8th gen Si's haha. No problems, bull-ish or anything. If you have any civic friends I highly recommend them haha. They're always nice to me, probably because I can smoke them! But still cool peeps!

well well well im back. JUST FOR THIS THREAD! and im like 99.9% this will get deleted too. i left cuz certain people couldnt keep their mouth shut and they either lied or exaggerated stories so i'd purposely lose friends and people i cared about as more than friends and a certain someone i cared about and would have done(and still will do) anything to be with. not sure if they will read this but middle finger to them. then after those lies others got mad at me and made threats behind my back. you all wanna slander me then go ahead but dont make it so personal that i lose the person i have cared about the most since the day i met the over 2 years ago at bamms house! (personal enough!!!!) once again middle finger to you. Theres a bunch of clicks in norcal and you all talk ____ about each other. i hung out with all of them and never once told what the other was saying. i never spoke ____ about them and never betrayed anyone. why you all did this to me is beyond me. you took it too far and shouldnt have. A car club shouldnt effect personal lives in anyway, but you made it do that. if you at all feel offended by this post then yep it's probably about you. if anyone wants to talk about this ____ then pm me or call me tmrw after im off work at 7. 1-510-304-1593. man up and speak it to me in person. theres a reason a few of us belong to a club based in socal.

 

The only problem I ever had with you is the way you treated my daughter . You made her cry way to many times . As far as talking ****, everyone knows what I say because I don't care who hears it.

 

Eww you guys are _______s. That's my only regret in getting an effn scion. The owners think they're hot ____. I was looking forward into Sac + Bay meets but eff that. Almost makes it seem like someone going to bust my car out of jealousy. Good thing I never started out with anyone ;)
